Dr. John DiMarco has helped people with learning, communication, and design for 20 years. He teaches, writes, trains, and consults in creativity, design thinking, new product development, digital media, instructional design, persuasive communication, and career building. As an educator, designer, product developer, and author, John shares his expertise in new media design, career skills, communications, and technology with people around the world. He frequently speaks at conferences, delivers seminars, creates products, and publishes extensively. His passion for helping people intersects digital, communication, instructional, visual, and product design disciplines. John is the inventor of  ShapeStretch.com and MYSTRETCHBAR, an innovative fitness and wellness product. He spent three years designing and perfecting the innovative device.

John DiMarco, Ph.D. is Professor of Mass Communication at St. John's University in New York City. He has authored numerous peer reviewed articles and chapters and five textbooks: Communications Writing and Design (Wiley Blackwell 2017), Career Power Skills (Pearson 2012), Digital Design for Print and Web (Wiley 2010), Web Portfolio Design and Applications (Idea Group 2006), and Computer Graphics and Multimedia: Applications, Problems, and Solutions (Idea Group 2004).

John is a certified Adobe Education Trainer. He helps people learn technical, creative, and career skills. He has worked on training and development projects and given presentations for Massapequa School District, Farmingdale School District, Freeport School District, St. John's University, Long Island University, CANON, Glaxo Smith Klein, The E-learning Guild, ISKO, and Campus Technology. In addition, he has helped hundreds small businesses and people with design, communication, and training projects. Professor DiMarco has taught college courses and seminars since 1997. He earned his Ph.D. in Information Studies at Long Island University.
